The modifications mentioned in these articles have significantly advanced since publication. Some cars actually have modifications to two chips and involve changes in up to four memory maps. All 10-valve turbo computer modifications are 50-states legal with the California Air Resource Board Executive Order No. D-238. All other computer modifications meet EPA Memorandum 1A requirements and are legal for use in 49 states. 1.8 liter turbo modifications are also now available. |
